Thank you Ayaanle for giving me the opportunity to share my story.
Ten years down the line my life has changed – a lot. I no longer carry the weight of anger and resentment. Now my path is laced with forgiveness, loving and caring motherhood, supportive community engagement, and a determined voice of the voiceless as the Presidential Envoy for Migration.
Thank you Allah SWT for the strength and determination you have bestowed upon me.
